Mains Failure Alarm

This is a simple circuit diagram of a mains failure alarm. This circuit generates alarm when there is any failure in the main supply. So it can used as a safety alarm at the time of mains failure.

LED Flasher For Automobiles

You can make this circuit and it can be attached to the automobiles for a cool look. For four wheelers it can fixed inside the head lamps and also under body also in two wheelers it can be attached under the vicer or under body etc.

Mini LED Torch

Here is simple circuit for making a LED torch, arrange the LED's in a dot board and attach it at the end of a PVC pipe so that it looks like a real torch

Obstacle detector wrist watch for blind

This is a circuit that helps the blind people to detect the obstacles around them. Here an IR sensor module is used to sense the obstacle in a range of 15-150cm. When an obstacle comes in front of the IR sensor then it detects it by the reflected waves and thereby produces an out put voltage. This output voltage is given to a vibrating motor through an H-bridge IC. That is The vibrating motor starts vibrating when obstacle come front of the watch.

PushUp Counter

This is a simple circuit for hobbyists. Here i have made a 99 counter with IC's 4026. It counts one when the clock input is supplied with a high to low input, and so on. The clock input is really acting as a switch. So i converted this circuit in to a pushup counter by attaching an IR sensor to the clock input. The IR sensor has a range of 15 cm to 150cm, but only the sufficient clock input is generated by the IR sensor only when some reflective body comes close to it at-least 15cm's. That is the IR sensor acts like a touch-less switch.
Here is the circuit diagram

IR sensor packing
Package size : 29.5×13×21.6 mm

If this IR sensor is kept below your forehead, it will generate clock pulses for the counter when your head comes close to it.

Car Battery Charger

Here is a simple circuit for charging car battery( 12v). The circuit contains:
  • a 230 - 12 step down transformer, 3 amp
  • bridge rectifier circuit
In this circuit the 230V ac supply is converted to 12V ac supply by the step down transformer and then this 12V ac is rectified to 12V dc by the bridge rectifier. There is a capacitor at the output of the bridge rectifier, it is used for filtering.
This circuit can also be used as a 12V dc power supply.
